Projects and Workspaces->Build Settings->Introduction

Selecting Settings from the Build menu opens a property sheet containing a set of tabbed property pages.  These enable you to change options used when your project is built.

The property pages available depend upon the type of the project.

If the project type is for an Executable Program, the General, Compiler, Assembler, Pre-link Step, Linker and Post-link Step tabs will be available.

If the project type is for an Object Code Library, the General, Compiler, Assembler, Pre-lib Step, Linker and Post-lib Step tabs will be available.

If the project type is for a Stand-alone Simulator, the General, Simulator, Custom Compile, Custom Assembler, Custom Link and Custom Environment tabs will be available.

The options that can be set in these different tabs are described in the following sections.
