Using the Custom AppWizard or Project Template->Tutorial - Creating an Extension with the AppWizard->Introduction
The following section will show you how to create a Virtual Workshop Extension using the Custom AppWizard.
This section assumes that you have the Crossware 8051 C compiler (with large memory model support) as well as the Virtual Workshop and assumes that you have installed the Crossware Embedded Development Studio into folder C:\estudio. Note that C:\estudio is the default installation directory for the retail version. However, if you have a demo or evaluation version then the default installation directory may be different (e.g. c:\estudio_demo). You will therefore need to take account of this when working through the tutorial.
