Projects and Workspaces->Creating a New Project->Project Name and Directory

The next page of the New Project Wizard requires you to select a project name and a project directory.



If you just enter a project name, then the Embedded Development Studio will automatically create a project directory name for you.  You will see the name of the directory appear as you type the project name.

Alternatively you can enter a directory name of your choice, or click on the Browse button to select an existing directory.

The project name will be used to create a file name and so must conform to the file naming restrictions of Windows.
