Using the Custom AppWizard or Project Template->Tutorial - Creating an Extension with the AppWizard->Running your Program in the Virtual Workshop

To run your program, select Go from the Simulate menu.

The Virtual Workshop will start and will run your program under simulation on your PC.

The Serial Port window will open displaying the output from the 8051 Serial Port:
