The Extension Interface->Variant Specific Interface Calls->CheckWatchdog()

extern "C" LONG CheckWatchdog(LONG nExtensionState)

The extension should return 1 if the watchdog timer has not timed out or if it does not want to handle this call.  If the watchdog timer has timed out, the extension should return 0.
