Code and Data Coverage->Data/Xdata Coverage

The simulator keeps track of which internal data memory and external data memory addresses have been accessed (read or written) during program execution.  If Show Data/xdata Coverage is enabled from the Options menu, then these accessed memory locations will be highlighted with a pale green background in the views of internal ram and external ram.

Data and xdata coverage is cleared when the program is restarted.

Data and xdata coverage information is stored with the rest of the 8051 state data and so when you restore a captured state, the coverage information is also restored.

The Data/xdata Coverage setting is saved in the status file and so will be restored when you restart the simulator.
