INTRODUCTION
This manual describes the Crossware 8051 C compiler, a part of the Crossware 8051 Development Suite.
The 8051 C Compiler consists of the following elements:
- ANSI C compiler and runtime libraries
- Relocatable cross assembler
- Linker
- Library manager
- Program maintenance utility
This manual describes the C compiler and runtime libraries, cross assembler and the linker and presents a brief description of the microprocessor instructions. The library manager and program maintenance utility are common across all Crossware C compilers and assemblers and so are described in a separate manual.
