  • Crossware to get visibility on Motorola web site, access to online resources, tools, training and technical support

CAMBRIDGE, UK, February 4, 2004, - Crossware (www.crossware.com), a leading embedded software tools developer, has been selected as a member of Motorola's prestigious Design Alliance Program, a worldwide network of qualified third-party developers working with Motorola's embedded solutions.

Crossware was selected for the program due to its highly acclaimed ColdFire Development Suite. By forming alliances with industry-leading specialists, such as Crossware, Motorola aims to provide its customers with quick and easy access to tried and tested tools that help to accelerate the time-to-market process.

Crossware's ColdFire Development Suite supports Motorola's expanding range of MCF528X microcontrollers as well as the other series 2, 3 and 4 ColdFire microprocessors, and allows developers to create, build and debug their ColdFire programs both with and without hardware. The totally integrated, user-friendly environment accelerates the development process and significantly reduces new product time-to-market.

"We are delighted to have been accepted as a member of this prestigious program," said Alan Harry, Crossware's founder and CEO. "As well as gaining a presence on Motorola's web site, we will have early access to numerous resources including training, datasheets, development tools, and technical support - all of which should enable us to improve the performance of our own development tools."
